Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar, where your private cab and driver are waiting to take you to your houseboat or hotel by Dal Lake. Settle in and spend the evening at leisure, watching the sun go down over the water as shikaras drift past.
Day 2: Head to Sonamarg, the 'Meadow of Gold,' for views of the Thajiwas Glacier and the mountain passes beyond. Return to Srinagar by evening.
Day 3: Wind your way up to Gulmarg, the 'Meadow of Flowers,' through apple orchards and pine forests. Ride the Gondola cable car (optional, payable directly) up to Kongdoori and, snow permitting, onward to Apharwat for sweeping Himalayan views, before returning to Srinagar for the night.
Day 4: Drive to Pahalgam, the 'Valley of Shepherds,' via the Awantipora ruins and Pampore's saffron fields, with a stop at Betaab Valley on the way. Check in for an overnight stay among the pines.
Day 5: Spend the morning exploring Pahalgam's Aru Valley or Chandanwari, then drive back to Srinagar for a houseboat stay on Dal Lake to close out the day.
Day 6: Spend the morning picking up souvenirs at Lal Chowk and the floating vegetable market, then your private cab drops you off for your onward journey - Kashmir's meadows and mountains left behind, but not forgotten.

This is our base ex-Srinagar Kashmir 5N/6D package; the price covers the Kashmir leg only, and travel to Srinagar from your city is arranged separately. 50% advance required to confirm the booking, balance payable before arrival. Cancellation charges increase closer to the departure date; cancelling well in advance keeps charges minimal. Gondola rides and other optional activities are payable directly and not included in the package cost.
